Capcom, for some reason, is ruining the Resident Evil franchise. What used to be a Survival-horror puzzle game with an interesting and consisting story, is now turned into a mindless, run-and gun, plot-less, kills-only type of game. Operation Raccoon city is just a alternative story to the original Resident Evil 2, and supposedly you can decide whether Leon S. Kennedy dies or lives. And that was not part of the original story at all. There were no what-ifs. Resident Evil stopped being what made it an awesome series since Resident Evil 5 came out.
Now, as for Batman: Arkham City... I don't know all the details to it, but if you have played Arkham Asylum before, you should know that they made some improvements on Arkham City. Much better free-roaming, more moves, a longer and hopefully better plot following up with the original, and the characters popular in the old school Batman series will make an appearance and actually be involved with the plot rather than being read as a side document or audio file.
So... I say get Batman: Arkham City. But if you have NOT played Arkham Asylum, then you better do so. it will make Arkham City seem so much better. Plus it is the prequel to Arkham City. And since you are getting bonuses with this game unlike RE: ORC, then what better way than to take advantage of the limited time offer?Resident Evil: Operation Raccon City OR Batman Arkham City?
Definately Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City. All the other games or RE were amazing. RE 5 wasnt as amazing as i thought it was, but still good. But Batman Arkham Asylum wasnt even that good. ive always been a fan of resident evil... even tho re5 was disappointing. i reserved the RE i just hope they bring back the game play content like the originals. i.e puzzle like, run and find keys or journals with passwords in them, content like that i miss.
first batman was pretty good even tho i wasnt really into it like that.

capcom did mess up alot of old games +1 that.
I'm not planning on getting either games, but if I had to pick, I'd go for Batman. Capcom does not deserve my money for ruining so many beloved series.
